Knotted Handle Leads

The clip lead is approximately 120cm in length and also features a small knot at the clip end of the lead. Different sizes can be made upon request. Please message us before ordering.

The slip / figure of 8 lead is an all in one lead. Place high up on the neck behind your dogs ears and slide the lock down to keep the lead positioned. You can turn the lead into a figure of 8 by twisting the lead into a figure of 8 shape and putting one section behind the dogs ears and one over the nose.

Our slip /figure of 8 lead adjusts to the size of your dog. Depending on the size of your dog and whether it is used as a slip or a figure of 8 lead depends on the length of the lead when in use. The laid flat lead without a loop formed measures approximately 150cm. Different sizes can be made upon request. Please message us before ordering.

Can't decide on a colour? Select 'Mystery' (last colour option coloured white/blank) for all or some of your options and we will use any of our collection or *one of a kind* (not usual stock) colours to make your order. If you add multiple mystery selections to your order we will make your whole order match unless otherwise specified. If you want everything different or you want some to match and not others, just let us know in the notes. *Images used may be of one of a kind colours and therefore not colours we usually stock.

Wash our collars and leads in warm soapy water and air dry. Do not put them in a washing machine or tumble dryer.

Sometimes flyaways can come off the rope. You can remove these by using a lighter flame. Be sure to pass over the strands quickly and not to hold the flame in one place or you may damage the lead.

Every item is made with strong, durable materials. We take every care to make every piece as strong and safe as possible. As with any collar and lead, it's advised to regularly check these for any wear and tear. All rope used is PPM known for being lightweight, not absorbing water, being mildew and rot resistant and strong with a minimum breaking strength of 880kg (8mm), 360kg (5mm) & 870kg (flat).

All our hardware has an antique brass finish. Our standard clips are zinc die casting and have a breaking load of 130kg. Our standard size O rings are steel with a breaking load of 350kg. Our buckles are zinc die casting and have a breaking load of 100kg. Our smaller rings used on 5mm grots and slip leads are also steel with a breaking load of 100kg. Our end caps are brass.
